This is a very special design released to celebrate Cartier's 150 year anniversary in 1997. In this scarf we see cameos of famous jewelry created by Cartier over those 150 years: La Belle Époque treasures, Tutti Frutti collection, brooches for the Duchess of Windsor, and a bird "freed from cage" that signifies the 1944 Liberation of France. Magnificent design work .... and, a remarkable history!

100% silk jacquard crepe de chine. Made in France in the historic Lyon tradition. Large size measuring approx. 33 X 33 inches. Hand rolled and stitched hems. Ruby red with ivory and vivid accents of sapphire blue, emerald and ebony. This exquisite design is ideal with a tailored black suit or your favorite white blouse, and we can easily see why Cartier scarves have always been a desired luxury!

Very fine vintage condition, like new but without Cartier tag or box. Neatly packaged in cello wrap. Genuine Cartier.
